Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Changing how you think about food is just as important as changing the food itself. Remember, most of all, you’re adopting a new mindset - not just about eating, but sustainable lifestyle habits.


So let’s talk about the distinction between The Paleo Protocol and other “diets”. The biggest difference is that this is not a diet at all. It’s a reset. You are embarking on a 21-day elimination protocol plus The Renewal Phase, and during this time you learn what foods make you feel your best. In The Renewal Phase, you may find that certain foods create adverse reactions or sensitivities. Something you may not have noticed in the past, or perhaps did not attribute to food, rather, other factors such as the weather, the pets, the pollen, who knows? We get very specific because you take the information with you beyond the reset, for the rest of your life, you will know which foods keep you feeling your best, which foods are enjoyed because they’re for special occasions or culturally important, and which foods are simply off the list for good.


The primary function of this reset is to jump-start healthy, sustainable habits, around four key elements of health: Nutrition, stress management, sleep and movement, so weight loss is not a fundamental aspect of the program. That being said, you could experience some weight loss due to a reduction in inflammation, increase in metabolism, more restful nights and balancing hormones.  You will learn why calorie deficit isn’t always the most effective way to get healthy, or lose weight. Other “diets” make you count calories, macros, steps and weigh yourself. But you are more valuable than the amount of calories you consume or the number on the scale. Instead, you’ll be focusing on nutrient-dense, whole foods, which will have you experiencing a gain in energy throughout the day, less brain fog or mid-afternoon slumps, sleeping more restfully and no longer craving. Perhaps you notice your clothes are a little looser, or that friends compliment you on your brighter eyes and smile. These are Lotus Life Benefits, and they are how you create a healthy lifestyle. You gain an understanding of what gives you the energy and vitality you deserve.
