Whatever you want to call it —harmony, balance, or “fitting it all in”— there is no secret to doing more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.
The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition. Even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower. Each petal represents an aspect of overall health. Place a dot on each petal to represent your level of satisfaction in that aspect of your life, the closer to the tip of the petal, the more satisfied you are with that aspect. Then, connect the dots, how close to a perfect circle is your life? Where are areas you would like to improve?
