Golden Milk Quick-Cook Video!

Here’’s a quick-cook video of my Golden Milk recipe. Are you familiar with the healing properties of turmeric?

Turmeric has been used for thousands of years as both a spice and medicinal herb. The compounds, called curcuminoids, are beneficial in many ways, including powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Chronic inflammation plays a major role in diseases such as heart disease, cancer, metabolic syndrome, Alzheimer’s and many other autoimmune conditions. Turmeric can increase antioxidants in the body, killing off free radicals. It boosts brain power, which is key to memory and learning. Arthritis patients respond well to curcumin supplements also.

To receive the most optimal effects, combining it with black pepper increases its bioavailability (the rate at which your body absorbs the nutrients) as well as being fat soluble, which is why I include coconut or MCT oil in this recipe. I drink this almost nightly. I feel the benefits as I am not as inflamed, and have less “belly bloat”. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you!
