As part of Whole30, after 30 days, the Reintroduction phase is when specific food groups are systematically added back into the diet to determine any adverse reactions. Reintroducing dairy is part of the process. I always recommend trying the best quality dairy products out there. In other words, if you’re going to eat cheese, select one made from sustainable, grass fed dairy. Don’t choose cheeses made from hydrogenated oils and other substances not meant to be eaten by humans. Grating cheese from a block takes very little time and is much better for you than the already-shredded cheeses, which are coated with preservatives to keep them from molding. Keep reading labels and make good quality choices. This not only increases your odds of less adverse reactions, you might decide incorporating dairy into your diet is something you can tolerate.
