Little Piggy Burger
This is such a simple recipe from the Paleo Cooking Live segment on June 17. The photo has the burger on a bun, but a couple of romaine lettuce leaves can easily replace the bun to make it paleo. (It was Father’s Day after all.)

Little Piggy Burger

Ingredients
- To yield 4 burgers: (approximately 6 ounces each)
- 1 1/2 pound ground pork
- 4 ounces chorizo sausage
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Combine the meats and mix with hands until blended completely, taking care to not over mix. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape into patties to grill..
- Grill on preheated grill to desired doneness, about 4 to 6 minutes each side.
- Allow to rest a few minutes before serving.
- Top with Maple Walnut Bacon and serve with burger accompaniments to your liking.
