Cauli-Tots
Once in a while want a good snack, like a bar-food style snack. Thinking about processed tater tots, fried in a deep-fryer filled with processed fryer oil that has seen every other item on the menu, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks (not to mention that some less-than reputable establishments will keep that stuff in the fryer until it’s almost motor oil, another subject for another day). So since I’m aware of those dirty little restaurant secrets, but still occasionally have a craving for bar-style foods, I like to think of creating something just as indulgent, without all the less-than desirable aspects added in. This Cauli-Tot recipe is one of those. You can make a bunch in advance and throw them into the freezer too. Simply re-heat in the air fryer or oven to return the crispy exterior, and serve with a selection of your favorite dipping sauces.
