Asian-Inspired Air Fryer Wings

Use the full wing to create “Batwings” for a fun Halloween dish!

Do you have an air fryer? I am not a fan of these crazy appliance fads. However,  I am  convinced, thanks to several other paleo bloggers, that air frying is a healthy alternative to traditional frying. And it's so fast! Per usual, I decided to go big, so I did my research and purchased the Cuisinart Digital Toaster Oven/Fryer (TOA65), which also functions as a toaster oven and convection oven. The feature I like best is the basket and tray combination. The basket is generously sized, it accommodates 3 pounds of chicken wings, so you can cook quite a bit at one time. It sits inside the tray to catch drips and splats for easy clean up. The tray can be used independently, as well as the rack.

So I gave it a try with this recipe, which can also be made in the oven on a rack. Spectacular results. Quick, delish and nutrish.
